Outfit Post

ACDC Top & Leather Skater Skirt from Times Square, both RM 25
Ankle Boots from Summit RM 33
Checkered Bag from Manila RM 15

Did I just make you LOL all the way? xD
Cheap clothes are good especially for mixing and matching.
Well actually you can find pretty good stuff in Times Square.
Sure, you'd probably say that the stuff there are really bad quality with bad sewing and all.
But I'd say that some clothes in Cotton On has really bad sewing as well, considering the price you pay for it, sometimes even without discount.
You just have to leaf through the stuff in Times Square carefully and you'll definitely find treasures there ;D
Not everything is bad.
I know alot of my friends who always come back empty handed from Times Square because they said there was nothing nice at all.
The key is patience :)
Yes shopping needs patience too!

Picture Perfect

Few days ago, an asshole, which so happened to be my friend uploaded my IC picture, which was taken when I was 12. If you're reading this and you're a girl, you'd probably know how I felt about it. Most guys would probably think it's funny like just a shitty joke, but no. Not to me it isn't funny.

It all started out with him stealing a photo of me from God knows where, and uploading it on Instagram. The funny thing was I posted that photo up on my blog before, but instead of taking it as it is, he did some shitty editing. Talk about embarrassing much.
But the photo really caught me by surprise because he didn't usually post photos that he didn't own.

Now this was a first. And no I wasn't flattered -.-

I wanted to comment on it saying that I will make meat pie out of him (when in actual truth we both know that he would be just fine), but Venice told me not to. She suggested something better- post an equally embarrassing photo of him as revenge.

So that was exactly what I did one day later. I posted something that was actually taken by ME and not stolen. Well it had a pretty good response from Facebook I'd say.

I don't even know why I bothered to censor anything since his face is gonna be revealed here.
Meh.
Ya that's Wee.

Little did I know that instead of being even, he'd take it to the next level. I logged out of my college's computer, but I did not know that right after I left, an error message came out or something, saying I couldn't be logged off.
#BadLuckIvena strikes again.

And this was what happened to my Google plus account.
So obviously after being embarrassed for another time, I saw this as a losing battle and that if I kept posting another photo to avenge myself from this humiliation, it will never end.
Hence I stopped.
I decided to let him just be happy and think that he won this pathetic battle.

But unfortunately some people's intelligence were just abit slow-developed.
And BAM. He decided to do what was extensively ALMOST my breaking point.
Which was. like I mentioned earlier, my IC.

Ladies & gentleman, I behold you my IC picture.
Screw it seriously. Just screw it.
I don't give a shit anymore and I just hate that people needed to find out that was how I looked when I was 12 from someone else instead of me.
So well here it is.
I admit that I was never good looking, and nobody ever called me pretty or anything associated with that word when I was younger.
Most people would call my sister those things, but never me.
Yes, I used to have an issue with that, really hating myself to the core for being not tall enough, not fair enough, not good looking enough, for people to treat me the way they treated  my sister.
Even now, dealing with comments and hints which hinted 'geez what went wrong with the eldest kid', can still be really hurtful to me.
But I've learned to move on and not dwell on it.
As long as I don't give up on myself, I can still be better, I can still improve.

I got really upset at first, seeing how this picture got leaked out like this on Social Media. Seeing that it was not just any picture but my freakin identification card.

So I admit I kinda did not want to talk to this person at all initially, whether it was on Net or in person. I was pissed. But finally, thanks to Dee, one of my really good friend, managed to knock some sense into me and make me realise how pointless it was to be upset about it.

Sure I used to look like that. But then again I look different now.
Well I'm glad this picture probably made somebody's day, making them laugh or even feel better about themselves. LOL.
Yes you out there, you look 10x better than me so smile haha.

Anyways I just wanted to share this because I guess I just hope that people won't be embarrassed about how they looked when they were younger, anymore.
Instead, be proud of who you were.
Honestly when I was 12, I felt I had my "good looking" days too. And there were also people who liked me for the way I looked at that time. I never utterly thought I was ugly until recently as I got older, and as I got more and more exposed to the media, comparing myself to them.

Nobody is ugly in this world, just people who are blind to their beauty.

Well I'm still friends with this loser obviously, but from now on he exists as the name Asshole to me. I'll just be more careful next time and stop trusting people with my stuff.

Oh and if you're reading this, Asshole, I have a video made especially for you ;)

Ending with some selfies cuz I realised I haven't taken any for quite awhile now hehe.

ChurpOut 2013 & RAGE Against Bullying

Today was the date where most people would've set aside months ago for the much anticipated, ChurpOut 2013! Just in case this is the first time you've heard of this event (like me lol), it's actually a street fair organized by ChurpChurp, a community for Social Media Influencers, at Setia City Mall.

Previously their ChurpOut events were only for ''Churpers and Churpettes'', however this year they decided to be really generous and opened it up for everyone. This time round it was a street fair which included fashion, food, games, charity and many more.

This event was definitely the cutest I've seen. They had these cute little (or maybe not so little) Doof bags in the middle of the field I tell you!

And you can even stand a chance to bring back one if you take part in one of their competitions in the evening.
How cool is that.
FREE STUFFFFFF!

So today I went there for working purposes. I was in support of the Star Rage's Anti Bullying Campaign which they erected a booth here.

But the best part about it was, we got to go around and talk to people, informing them about this campaign and taking pictures of them with their pledges. I mean it's for a really good cause, and I just felt that we needed all the support we could get to make our country aware of how big an impact bullying can give to victims.

This is the can-I-stop-smiling-now pose.

Mammee Monster is against bullying as well

Anyways, we were so blessed as our booth was placed right next to this new Korean fried chicken booth in town, called KyoChon! SUPER YUMMY! Plus the line was really long, I was amazed our turn even came for us to order.
Can you believe that they even had Super Junior to 'approve' them as well??
Pictures of Super Junior were all over the paper bags which contained our chicken.
Kpop fans see also happy, eat also happy.

Close enough.
I got this from Google though cuz I forgotten to take picture of my bag before it went missing :(

If you don't believe me, here's a picture of all of them holding up their fried chickens LOL.

And they even provided plastic gloves to protect your delicate hands from getting sticky and oily!

The infamous Ian Yee.

They had so many things there, from a photo booth where people can get 2 photo strips for free and even long list of blogshops for fashion lovers to venture into.

Hmm Reverse Bungee Jumping anyone?
Instead of throwing you down, they throw you up up in the sky.

The middle of the field was also where they had all of the main performances/highlights of the day.
Cheer Aces came and they did a stunning performance, tossing and spinning the flyers so high it will make literally make your jaw drop in awe.

The art of Fashion Graffiti revealed.
The model's dress which was inspired by the Hunger Games's Katniss, before getting spray painted by Graffiti artists, Kenji Chai and Gilbert Ng.
Unfortunately I didn't get to stay till the end.

But I found the end results on ChurpChurp's official Instagram acc!

Twin towers LOL. That was what Spellman described this picture as.
Yes I met Spellman and Mr. Brian See today! For real.
They were so friggin tall, I promise I don't even know what they eat for a living.
Truth be told, I always saw them in my campus everywhere..
From the computer lab, to the restaurants, to even the gym o_o
Just that I didn't know who they were until recently.
I'm pretty outdated haha.
Really nice to finally get to talk to them.

Chris and Saren :D

Yes and I got super tan.
IDK WHAI :'(
But I couldn't be bothered to add a filter cuz I am too tired.
I wonder if this was the 'Sun-kissed skin' all the ang mos have been paying few hundred bucks just to lie in a sauna box for few hours in hope to achieve this colour tone.
Well, just come to Malaysia guys.

Jaydee.

All the famous youtubers.
Finally got a chance to meet them :')

I didn't get to really look around the blogshops honestly because I was too busy. I also missed out alot of things on my supposedly to-do-list today :(

To sum everything up, this event was a total hit and definitely a success. I loved the venue as well, it felt so peaceful just being there and half way through they even encouraged us to fly kites because the place was that huge.

Really wished I could've stayed till the end though, as they usually save the best part of the event for the last.
But I guess that will have to wait till next year.

Oh and I know I've been missing for exactly a week now and I have really good reasons for that. Been facing some rough waters lately, and will update in the next post...
Stay tuned? :)

Please Don't Judge Me

I was never a fan of Chris Brown till I heard this song by him - Please Don't Judge Me. I started listening to his music on radio when I was about 11 or 12 though, and that was when I realised all his songs sounded like some horny little boy desperately looking for a girl to shag.

No joke.

That was my first impression towards him. I guess its cuz when you're a kid, these kinda sexual stuff really sounds disgusting especially in public and that we would in no way want any association with it, especially when our parents are present.

But as time goes and as we grow up, we tend to become more open towards it and even embrace it (for some of us) LOL. Maybe it's cuz we can finally relate to the lyrics and what not?

I'm quite embarrassed to say this but I kinda like songs like these now WTH. I mean I find it really sensual especially when guys are able to dance to songs like these and move their bodies according to the beats and lyrics of the song.
Whoosh. I can't even.

If you're below 16, do me a favour and not click on the video below HEH.
I warned you.
Brian Puspos <3

Sigh. What would the 11-year-old-me think of me now.
Why did hormones have to come and screw with my mind. WHAI :'(

But ok that wasn't the only reason I disliked him. It was also because few years later, just when I was starting to accept him and his singing style, he hit Rihanna. No matter under what circumstance, a guy should never have a reason to hit a lady. Maybe she did something really bad to him that was never mentioned in the news, and it hurt him. But that doesn't give him the right to abuse her in anyway. I'm not like a feminist or anything but the thing is, men were built stronger naturally to protect women and not use it against them :/

So yea. No one likes a violent celeb that might even hurt their fans right?

But then my lecturer shared with us this song and told us that it would be for a performance at the end of the year, telling us that we had to audition for it to secure a spot. The song was called Don't Judge Me, by Chris Brown and the song was really good, I must say.

The beat and everything was perfect. It's been really long since I've heard songs that doesn't involve some Dubstep remix.

It was a really emotional song and I realised it had alot to do with his own personal life, being a famous personality and what he has to struggle with when it comes to relationships.

I remember when we first heard it, all of us were so silent, closing our eyes and feeling the music. Haha that's how much impact the song had on us.

On the audition day, I was really nervous but hyped up. Unfortunately the lecturer kinda didn't like my style, since she preferred something more gentle. And was expecting us to look vulnerable :/
Oh well.
She told me I could add hip hop elements to it, and that's exactly what I did, since the beat was really suitable for it.

But... Apparently I was too aggressive?
Yea that'd prolly be the reason I learned Bboy and not Contemporary in the past. I was never really a girly girl :(

However, I truly am grateful that in the end none of us who auditioned got rejected :'D YAAAAY to extra credits and a chance to really explore Contemp!

Eva & Koyin :))
They're so gorge I feel like a troll next to them.

The rest of the pretty ladies :)

This is ACDC.
The Awesome Contemporary Dance Crew.
Yes we ripped our shirts by ourselves.
Somehow I managed to rip it up nicely for everyone else except myself..
Cuz I experimented with my shirt first haha

I promise you this pict was not edited.
Taken by my friend's Ipad. Super nice haha.

 Prakaash!

Oscar and his angriest face.

The song :)
